Tyreek Hill claims that the New England defense won’t know how to cover him in Sunday Night Football.

Divisional matchups in the NFL are crucial, whether it’s Week 17 or Week 2. Now, the Miami Dolphins and the New England Patriots will face off in the Sunday Night game of the 2023 season’s second week.

Tyreek Hill is the favorite target of Tua Tagovailoa, the Dolphins’ quarterback, and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will want to limit him at Gillette Stadium. However, the wide receiver issued a threat to the divisional rival, stating that no matter how they cover him, he will dominate.

“I’ll dominate them no matter what,” the wide receiver said in a press conference. “I still have work to do, and that’s running my routes. It doesn’t matter if they send double or triple coverage; I’ll run the route and get open for the reception.

Cheetah,’ as Tyreek Hill is also known, made this assertion a week after accumulating 215 yards and two touchdowns against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, the Patriots’ defensive unit limited Philadelphia Eagles’ QB Jalen Hurts to 170 yards in his debut in the 2023 season and will seek to make it a challenging night for Tagovailoa.

Much of the Patriots’ defensive work is due to the pressure generated by pass rushers Matt Judon, Josh Uche, and Deatrich Wise Jr., along with the coverage provided by Jonathan Jones, Jabril Peppers, and rookie Christian González.

Statistics of Tyreek Hill against the Patriots:

Hill, a seven-time Pro Bowl invitee in his career, has played six games against New England: four as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs and two since joining the Miami Dolphins last year. In his career, he has accumulated 550 yards and five touchdowns. In the two games of the previous season, already with the Dolphins, he caught 12 of the 19 passes thrown his way for 149 yards and generated eight rushing yards and one touchdown.
