It was further mentioned that Sundar joined the Indian squad in Colombo in the evening.

Akshar Patel showed good form against Bangladesh

In the Super Four match against Bangladesh, Indian all-rounder Akshar Patel displayed good form. He scored 42 runs in 34 balls at number eight with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes. In addition to his batting, he also took 1 wicket while bowling.
